MC2 Goes Above and Beyond

Our reputation as placemakers came into its own again this month as we entered into a partnership with regeneration specialist, U+I.

U+I’s portfolio of mixed use projects across the UK and Ireland includes Manchester’s Mayfield development, which will transform the riverside behind Piccadilly station and create the city’s first public park in more than a century. It’s community-driven ideas like this which align U+I’s creative vision with our ethos of making a positive difference in everything we do.

First up, we have been enlisted to drive consumer footfall and attract new tenants to Manchester’s newly rebranded home of adventure, BEYOND. Perhaps best known for the iconic Chill Factore winter sports centre, BEYOND is also home to the likes of iFly indoor sky diving, Oxygen Free Jumping and DW Sports.

Our strategy will be centred on repositioning the venue as an enhanced experience destination, showcasing the full range of retail and social offerings as U+I expands the site’s retail and leisure activities in 2019.
