Business Elite Get into Gear

After an overwhelming response from the Manchester corporate community, Velofest is shaping up to be an incredible night in support of Maggie’s.

With cyclists stepping forward to take on Manchester’s new Velodrome track, the organisers have now revealed that Richard Lang, pro-cyclist and founder of the personal cycling coach app Spokd, will be putting our competitors through their paces ahead of the event. Training sessions will get each contestant in gear before they take on the one-lap time trial, in front of hundreds of friends and colleagues.

Away from the track, the festival has created a jam-packed line-up for guests on Thursday 5th July. Each table can make the most of cocktails from The Alchemist, beer courtesy of Brightside Brewing, and food from The Striped Pig and Living Ventures. Mr Wilson’s Second Liners will provide entertainment, and legendary Hacienda DJ, Dave Haslam, will close the night.

All this whilst making a truly positive difference to the lives of those affected by cancer. Spots are being snapped up fast for the night – get in touch with velofest@thisismc2.com to secure a table of ten for £1,200 or individual tickets at £120 each.
