Booking.com Makes Northern Commitment with Global HQ
Since we started working with the company, Rentalcars Connect has grown significantly across the globe – culminating in its merger with Booking.com which saw it become BookingGo earlier this year.
This month it committed to the North, with Booking.com investing over £100 million over ten years into a new global headquarters for BookingGo in the heart of Manchester.
This endorsement of the North’s talent, infrastructure and culture from a major tech giant is a significant boost to the region’s ambitions.
Located in Manchester’s new St John’s Quarter, BookingGo will become the anchor tenant of Allied London’s Enterprise City tech campus. The company will move 1,500 employees to St John’s from four existing Manchester offices, with up to 900 new jobs expected to be created in the coming years.
With everything in place to drive the firm forward, we’re relishing the task of supporting BookingGo’s future international growth.
